You don't need to know math. You don't need to know code. You need one person you want to amaze.
π A confession, before anything else
I built every game and every demo on this website. And here is the truth:
I understand zero of the mathematics on these pages. Zero. I cannot follow the proofs in Descent QED. I cannot do the calculus that LOOM2 sings. I can't even write "Hello World" β the simplest program that exists. I also have ADD (attention deficit disorder); some days I can barely count my own games correctly.
And yet: real-time 3D engines with custom shaders. Live orchestral audio synthesis. Nine proofs of the Basel problem, faithful to the letter. Newton's Principia rebuilt room by room from the 1687 figures.
How? Genius AI did both kinds of heavy lifting. It wrote the code β that's called vibe-coding, and you may have heard of it. But it also carried the science β call it vibe-math, vibe-physics, vibe-science. I brought only two things: a person I love who I wanted to share a mountain with, and stubbornness.
If I could do this, then β honestly, and I mean this literally β anybody on Earth can. Kids can. Grandparents can. You can. This page shows you how.

Everything on this site is organized like a real mountain range:

- A Mountain is one of the greatest unsolved problems of science β the Riemann Hypothesis, NavierβStokes, quantum gravity, room-temperature superconductors. Each has a legendary scientist as its sherpa guide.
- A Path is one real approach to the summit β just like real Everest has multiple climbing routes of different character. Riemann alone has nine.
- A Base Camp is a subtopic along a path. A Stepping Stone is a sub-subtopic β and every stepping stone is meant to become a playable demo: a two-player, one-screen experience where one of you flies and one of you bends the world.
- The Arcade is the mountain range's shared foundation: full games β loving remakes of Descent, Quake, Loom, Homeworld β that teach the bedrock every mountain stands on: proofs, mechanics, calculus, linear algebra.
The rules of every climb, everywhere on this site:
- π Two players, one screen, two real jobs. One flies, one thinks. Neither can win alone. Talking to each other is the game. (Solo works too β you just play both roles.)
- π‘οΈ You cannot lose. No health bars, no lives, no game-over, ever. Wrong answers get a friendly explanation, never a punishment. You're not being tested β you're being shown.
- π Nothing is dumbed down. Real proofs, real figures, real Wikipedia-register truth β made playable, never made fake.
- π― Everything is free, forever. No signup, no ads, no catch. Download a

π¨ Part Two β How the building works
(for makers β how to create what isn't here yet)
Here is the part I care about most.
Look at the map of any mountain: paths, base camps, hundreds of stepping stones. The research skeleton is already done β every path is fully mapped. What's missing is the demos: the playable, flyable, singable version of each stepping stone. One person could never build them all.
But you know what did build the largest encyclopedia in human history? Everybody. Wikipedia works because anyone can write one page. Peak Together works the same way: anyone can build one stepping stone. Think of the Wolfram Demonstrations Project β but as a game, built by the crowd, climbing real unsolved mountains together.
And here's the secret that makes it possible: the recipe is formulaic. Every single thing on this site was made the same way:

You don't need to understand the Wikipedia page. You don't need to understand the code. The AI understands both. You are the director, not the crew.
π° The Recipe β build your first stepping stone this weekend
- Pick your person. Not your topic β your person. The girlfriend whose birthday is coming. The cute nerd in your class you're too shy to talk to. Your dad. Your granddaughter. Everything is easier when it's a gift.
- Pick a Wikipedia page. Any mathematical or scientific concept that sounds beautiful to you β even if (especially if!) you don't understand a word of it. Browse a mountain's stepping stones here for ideas, or wander Wikipedia until something glows.
- Grab the skeleton. The full source code of the Harmonic Series Demo is on GitHub β free, no account needed. It's the official template: 6-DOF flying, sliders, scenes, everything. You won't read this code. You'll hand it to the AI.
- Copy-paste this starter prompt into Claude or ChatGPT β yes, literally this, right now:
I want to build a free educational demo for the open-source project Peak Together (peaktogether.me). Important: I don't know how to program, and I don't understand the mathematics β you will do both. I am the director; please talk to me in plain English, one small step at a time, and write ALL the code yourself. The demo is two-player on one screen: Player 1 flies a 3D camera Descent-style with the keyboard (pygame + PyOpenGL, full 6 degrees of freedom), and Player 2 drags Manipulate-style sliders with the mouse that bend the world in real time. Rules of the project: stay faithful to the real figures and formulas of the source article (never dumb it down); no health, no lives, no game-over β wrong turns get friendly explanations; pure Python (pygame, PyOpenGL, NumPy, matplotlib for LaTeX labels). I'm attaching two things: 1. The template source code from the project's Harmonic Series Demo β please keep its structure, controls, and style. 2. The Wikipedia article about [TOPIC] β please read it and propose a list of 5β10 flyable 3D scenes based on its most famous figures, examples, and results. Start by showing me the list of proposed scenes. Then we'll build them one at a time, and you'll tell me exactly what to click and paste.
- Vibe. The AI proposes scenes; you pick your favorites. It writes code; you run it and paste back whatever errors appear (that's a real technique β it's how I built everything). You say things like "make the wall more golden" and "slower, it's too fast for my mom." No step requires understanding β only taste, patience, and love.
- Send it in. Two doors, both always open:

- π₯° A shy boy from the back row builds a small demo about prime numbers for the cute nerd girl in his class. He never had to say a word. The demo said it.
- π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ A family spends a rainy Sunday building one scene together β the kids pick the colors, grandpa picks the topic, the AI does the math. A Disneyland you build yourselves, with your own hands.
- π§βπ« A teacher builds the exact stepping stone her class is stuck on β and Monday's lesson becomes a flight.
- π¬ A professor who spent thirty years on one beautiful theorem finally has a way to show his own family why.
- πΊ A YouTuber builds one live, on camera, in an afternoon β because the process itself is the show.
Playing is joy. Building is meaning. The demo you make will outlast the weekend you made it in.
π Why this matters
Every demo makes a real idea playable for every future visitor β a Wikipedia of playable science, growing one gift at a time. And the mountains at the top are real: unsolved, waiting. Nobody knows which mind, playing which stepping stone, on which date night, catches the spark that matters. That's the wisdom of the crowd β and it's the one thing that never worked by testing people, only by inviting them.
In a world where AI does more and more alone, this site is built on the one thing it cannot do: two humans wondering together.
